2020-21 Thinning on Galbraith

As of October 14th, Janicki Logging has started harvest operations on Galbraith Mountain in the Red Rock area heading North. The harvest plan is to thin ~420 acres and clearcut ~30 acres where they've found trees with laminated root rot. Depending on weather and other factors, we anticipate they will be off the mountain by late January.

Trails impacted during operations will be upper Huff and Puff, Mohawk, Mullet, Happy Hour, High Life, Bottle Opener, Keystone, Vitamin R, The Finger, Devilcross and Supercross.

As always, we will close/reopen trails as quickly as possible and will need lots of volunteer help to reopen them as they move through the areas and plan to keep everyone posted on those days. Also, we'll ask folks to ride the 3 Pigs & lower Huff and Puff during the day when they start hauling logs down the Tower Road.

Se sim, posso procurar informações sobre os objetivos do desbaste (por exemplo: saúde da floresta, prevenção de incêndios, abertura Geometry Dash Lite de trilhas etc.)

Appreciate the call for volunteers to help reopen that's not my neighbor trails; I’d love to pitch in when the time comes.

If you want to find the best places to doodle baseball, we suggest taking a more programmatic approach at the local level with the people who have a stake in that area.

Appreciate the transparency and planning—glad to see things being done thoughtfully, especially with root rot in the mix, and looking forward to Agar io helping out when it's time to reopen the trails!
