Forestry Operations Updates:
Junia Logging Update - Logging is transitioning to the top of the towers, so this is a reminder that Upper Huff and Puff, Upper Wonderland, and Upper Mohawk are closed in addition to: Evolution, Scorpion, Das Auto Bahn, Upper Whoopsie Woodle, Swirlz, Wraparound, and Tower Trail. Larry's Pizza, Spacewolf, and Lunazul will not be impacted by the logging operation, but are closed due to lack of access as Tower Road will be closed at the Blue Ribbon Connector. Mohawk is open from the wallride down (you can access from here). To read more about why this is happening, you can check out this piece put together by Janicki and this piece published by Cascadia Daily.
Aerial Spraying Upcoming - There is aerial spraying planned at some point soon in the areas that were clear cut earlier this year. This will be a focused application via drone, so we'll only be closing a portion of the mountain for 48 hours (anything near the vicinity of Vitamin R, The Finger, Lower Happy Hour, and Lower Devilcross). It's very weather dependent, so we'll provide more information as soon as we can.
Log Hauling Route - The Wall is closed for uphill traffic during the day for the foreseeable future as logging trucks will be coming down the road. Please climb Tough Love or Intestine/Cleavage or Intestine/Son of Sam instead.
Trail Updates:
Upper Cedar Fever Open! - The upper section of Cedar Fever is back open! Jayce reworked a few sections to better utilize the speed and make the line run more intuitively. Here's a video of EB checking out the rework. Jayce is digging into the lower section below Cleavage and that section will remain closed until he's finished and it's ready to ride.
Lower Brown Pow Open! - The last section of Brown Pow is now open! Instead of riding the last bit of the Chanterelle Trail, you now ride singletrack all the way down to the parking lot!
Mabel's Update - We're waiting on moisture to get Mabel's finished up and riding. Please respect the closure. If people ride it before it's open, it slows down our progress and keeps the trail closed for longer. Lower Mabel's is still open and rideable!
Cleator Road Closed for Grading - Please note Cleator Road is closed at least through next Thursday (10/29) for grading. For more updates, check out the State Parks website. Pedaling access to Double Black will be impacted, but Double Down is still accessible.
Whatcom World Champs on November 7th - We're hosting the inaugural Whatcom World Champs on Saturday, November 7th. This will be a three-stage enduro race on Galbraith. More info about which trails will be raced will come in the next couple weeks!
Lower Chanterelle Trail Closure Next Weekend - WTA will be repairing the Lower Chanterelle Trail next weekend. If you're interested in helping, they have public trail days on Friday - October 30th, Saturday - October 31st, Sunday - November 1st

Downed Tree Season is Here! - Falltime is here and that means moisture, wind storms, and downed trees! Be aware and prepared as you're out riding. If you come across a downed tree that needs to be removed, please report those on Trailforks. If the tree magically disappears with the help of a Trail Fairy, please also report that on Trailforks so we don't send one of our trail crew on a wild goose chase.
Please Report Leafy/Overgrown Trails - If you ride a trail that seems overgrown and needs some brushing, please let us know! Your reports (via email or trailforks) are helpful in making sure we keep the brush at bay.
Lower Happy Hour & Lower Devilcross Update - We're working with the builders to get these reopened. We'll share more info as we can.
Happy Devil & Quick Way Out Update - Thanks for everyone that helped with handwork on these trails recently! While these trails are both passable, they'll remain closed until we are able to open up the trails that drop you into that zone (The Finger, Happy Hour, Devilcross).
Olsen Creek Development - We've reached the end of the watershed window, so work has slowed at Olsen Creek. Until the watershed window opens next year, we'll be focused on basic maintenance to address any safety and sustainability issues.
Recent Trail Work - For the most up-to-date information on recent trail work completed, check out the Reports section on Trailforks.
