The WMBC had 20 bikes stolen from our container at the Trackside Pump Track in the past few days.
We believe the theft occurred between 8:30 AM Monday (May 16th) and 2:00 PM Tuesday (May 17th). Also taken were 20+ helmets (8 were newer Giro), a tool kit and miscellaneous supplies. These bikes and helmets are used in our youth bike programs most notably the Vamos Outdoors Project . The bikes are all smaller adult sizes with a few 24” wheels. All bikes have (or had) a WMBC sticker on the top tube.
Please contact Bellingham Police if you see a bike matching the descriptions below or the WMBC if you have any information regarding this theft and share this with your friends.
