Gerry Creighton

Trail Builder

Gerry moved to Bellingham in the fall of 2018 from New Jersey, where he spent nearly a decade volunteering with JORBA as the Atlantic County Representative. During that time, he worked closely with land managers and local government to plan, scout, and build trails across four parks, logging over 1,000 volunteer hours. From 2008 to 2016, he also raced enduro mountain bikes and managed the East Coast Enduro Facebook group and website, helping grow the sport and promote races throughout the region.
In Bellingham, Gerry quickly found a home in the WMBC community. He’s co-built Hidden Valley, maintains Brown Pow, and designed and built Swirlz and Larry’s Pizza—two connected blue trails that reflect his passion for fun, flowy, and sustainable design. Whether he’s scouting new routes, leading volunteer dig days, or cracking jokes while shaping berms, Gerry brings creativity, collaboration, and plenty of humor to the trail.
When he’s not in the woods, you’ll probably find Gerry behind a camera capturing mountain biking and the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest—or out riding with friends on our local trails.
