EVENT DETAILS

TIME: The event is from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

REGISTRATION: Please register online so we can anticipate the number of kids and adults that are attending.

COST: Free! This event is to get people into bikes and we want as few barriers as possible. Please join us!

AGE: There is no age requirement! Kids just have to be able to get to the event space, either on their own bike or on a Kids Ride Shotgun.

COOK OUT: We will have a cook out on the mountain starting at 1pm. Grilled food and snacks for all!

RIDER ABILITY

BIKE SAFETY: You must provide your own bike. We recommend bicycles with hand brakes (preferably disc brakes), multiple gears, and offroad tires. Full suspension bikes are not required. If you have a tow rope, or Kids Ride Shotguns, please feel free to bring them!

DOGS: Please leave your dogs at home. There are going to be lots of kids and families who are new to mountain biking and we want to minimize distractions.

PARKING / ACCESS: The closest parking is at our Southside parking lot on Samish Way. The event is 1.2 miles up a gravel road, about a 10-15 minute ride from the parking lot. Pedal across Samish Way to Galbraith Lane and continue up the road and past the yellow gate. There will be signs directing people to the event space. If you'd like to map it, the event coordinates are 48°43'00.4"N 122°25'32.0"W
