CHUCKANUT MOUNTAIN TRAIL MAP
THE TRAILS
Chuckanut Mountain has some of the most scenic trails in our area. 20+ miles of it! Rising straight out of the ocean, the mountain boasts a massive amount of old growth forests with some of the best views around. The trails wind in and out of Larrabee state park and are primarily hiking trails that allow mountain biking on designated trails. The trails offer a massive amount of vertical for those not afraid to climb along with great views and extremely high quality flowy singletrack.
Our favorite bike trails are: Raptor Ridge, The Ridge Trail, Salal, Double Black, Double Down, Hemlock, Hush Hush, Pine and Cedar.

Please be aware that the Double Black Diamond trail is a shared multi-use trail and you will encounter hikers, so keep an eye out. We are aware that this is not an ideal situation and have already advocated with the State Park for a designated uphill hiker trail that fully separates the two user groups. The State Park has not been able to prioritize this request yet, so please stay respectful and stay alert. You can find our Larrabee trail proposal here.

HOW TO GET THERE
There are three main ways to access the Chuckanut Mountain trails: North Chuckanut Trailhead, Cyrus Gates Overlook, and Fragrance Lake Trailhead. All the access points are off Chuckanut Drive. Cleator Road takes you to the Cyrus Gates Overlook near the top of the trails where you can shuttle Double Black Diamond trail - just watch for bikers and hikers on the road.
