Erik recently retired from a rewarding career as an accounting professor at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After raising three kids on the California Central Coast, he relocated to Bellingham, where he quickly embraced the region’s vibrant mountain biking community. As an active WMBC volunteer, Erik supports after-school bike clubs, Wednesday night races, trail work, and other community events. He enjoys frequent rides on Galbraith and throughout the Pacific Northwest. Alongside his wife Karen, a fellow mountain biker, Erik is proud to help promote the stewardship and sustainability of local trails.
