Pat is a Bellingham resident and a career-long leader in the outdoor industry, bringing over 30 years of experience in the industry and a lifetime as a participant. His background blends high-level strategic planning with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, including a decade of Capitol Hill lobbying to protect public lands with the Conservation Alliance—a key partner in the Galbraith Mountain protection project.
A former professional cyclist, skier, and mountain guide, Pat provides a hands-on perspective to trail advocacy. He has served as a volunteer ride leader for the WMBC After School Bike Club for five years, supporting his kids' passion for the sport. When not riding bikes, Pat is an avid sailor and backcountry adventurer dedicated to ensuring Whatcom County remains a world-class destination for sustainable recreation for generations to come.
