INTRODUCTION

The Civic Dirt Jump park is located on Puget Streert near the city center of Bellingham across from Civic Field. It is designed for all skill levels of riders. The jump park is perfect for kids and families wanting to learn new skills as well as the seasoned dirt jumpers working on new tricks.  The park is open every day during daylight hours and is a great place to come and watch riders fly through the air even if you don’t ride.

HOW TO GET THERE

The park is conveniently located near downtown Bellingham at Civic Field. Take Lake Way Dr. from downtown and head east, then turn left on Puget St. and the DJ park is located on the right side of the road next the skate park and across the street from Civic Field Stadium.

WANT TO HELP WITH CIVIC BIKE PARK UPKEEP?

In general, spray the track before you ride, don't ride in the rain and do your best to leave it in as good or better condition than you found it.

  • Watering dirt helps to prevent erosion of jumps from tire traffic while riding.

  • Watering the features while you are riding is important and helpful maintenance for the longevity of the seasonal work performed at the parks.

    • If you aren't sure how much water to apply, use less at first until you're sure how much can be applied without puddling.

  • Watering an entire park or jump line by yourself can be a big job, especially when it's hot. If you're alone or don't have a lot of time, even just watering one feature that you are riding is helpful. â€‹
