At least one adult in each ride group needs to have their current basic 1st aid certificate (at a minimum). Red Cross offers many courses for this, or you can also find some mountain bike specific classes.
Each student that signs up must become a WMBC family member ($60). This fee covers insurance, one trail day during your ride season, first aid kits, jerseys for ride leaders., Ride Leader Certification and logistical support
We have an annual meeting (this year March 11) to hand out ride leader WMBC shirts, schedules, ride leader packets, first aid kits, go over details and logistics. Meeting will be held at 7:00 @ Twin Sisters Brewery in Bellingham
