South Side Parking Lot Update

South side parking lot update: Phase 2 should be complete by Thanksgiving. What does this mean for riders and users? As we halt work for the winter, the south side parking lot, with expanded foot print, will be back open for parking! The parking will also be connected back to Lake Padden by trail.
The lot will be open until we begin Phase 3 in early spring. We hope to start the final phase of the parking lot, including paving, in March 2022.
Thank you all for your help in this project, whether you donated money, helped share our updates, or stayed off of the roads the dirt movers have been on - we have appreciated the community's involvement and support on this one.

Really glad to see the completion of phase 2 of the south parking lot – finally there is ample parking to make it easier to get to Lake Padden. I used to have to circle around to find a spot, it felt like playing Drift Boss, one wrong turn and I missed my chance. Now there is a trail back to the lake, making it much easier to walk or cycle. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this project!
Wacky Flip does a great job of increasing difficulty at just the right pace. Each level feels like a new test of your skills. The way wacky flip challenges you more and more makes every victory feel earned.
